First off I would like to thank you for this opportunity. Now let’s start this off. Honestly, I would have no idea what to do, if I was told that I had a rare or deadly cancer. So many thoughts would be running through my mind. Like, what steps should I take? Or I will never have children or grandchildren. This has nothing to do with this type of cancer, but my uncle had cancer.
The same things happen to him as well. They told him how many months he had and that he should get stuff ready. Now if I was in his situation, I would live my life. I would start looking for cures and having fun! But the most important thing though is family! Even though u have a few years, months, weeks or days I would spend as much time as I could with the people who were there for me supporting me through the whole thing!
So honestly my essay isn’t the best or the longest but all I know, is that if it was me in that situation, all you have to do is live your life. All your dreams, all the things you wanted to do, might as well do it now and go with a bang you know! Find some cures and help out our future generation. I rather know I’m going to help someone in the future who has the same problem I have. Thank you again for this opportunity. Rest in peace to my uncle Yensky, I miss you and love you so much! Life isn’t the same without you!
