If I was diagnosed with Mesothelioma, I would try my very best to outlive my prognosis. Like James O’Connor, I would speak to doctors, researchers, and patients to conduct research for treatment. The resources that I would search to make a decision for a treatment would depend on the stage of the cancer affecting my body. James is a symbol of motivation to cancer patients because he was determined to overcome Mesothelioma.
James “Rhio” O’Connor is a memorable figure. After being diagnosed with Mesothelioma, he worked hard and outlived his prognosis by more than 6 years. O’Connor continued to survive the cancer by spending hours learning in the library. He spoke to doctors, researchers, and patients about therapies. James became very sucessfull that he created a therapeutic protocol. Rhio’s accomplishments is why he is a memorable figure.
Mesothelioma is a rare type of cancer that occurs in the thin layer of cells lining in the body’s internal organs called Mesothelium. The only recognized cause of Mesothelioma is exposure to Asbestos. Asbestos are inhaled fibers that may cause inflammation of internal tissue and disrupt organ function which leads to development of disease. Industrial laborers are subject to Asbestos when the work being completed deals with textile, concrete, and other material of that nature.
If I was diagnosed with Mesothelioma, I would try my very best to outlive my prognosis. Remember, take a deep breath and think positive. The support of my loved ones makes a difference. All the advice I can learn matters. Remember, I am not alone. My stenght is how I will overcome Mesothelioma.
Like James O’Connor, I would speak to doctors, researchers, and patients to conduct research treatment. Speaking to doctors will gain me valuable information because my health is what I need to protect. While gaining answers from researchers, I can use that knowledge to educate universities, medical facilities, and scientists in hope of more support for the fight against Mesothelioma.
Educating patients will be a vital choice because they will get informed and understand that no one is alone in this fight. Gaining information is why I will overcome Mesothelioma.
The resources that I would search to make a decision for a treatment would depend on the stage of the cancer affecting my health. For example, If my diagnosis was discovered early, then I would know how strong my body is at the moment. Being healthy always brings positive outcomes. With great health, I would rely on medications because surgery would not be needed due to my good health. With a weak body and the cancer already affecting my health, my options would be limited for surgery and medications. This is why I would need to be healthy to overcome Mesothelioma.
James O’Connor is symbol of hope. Due to his dedication to defeating Mesothelioma, he outlived his prognosis by more than six years. Rhio has inspired me to always work hard. His dedication to research has given cancer patients a sense of dignity. My outlook on life is so different because I learned about Rhio’s story. Everyone deserves the right to suceed, even when time is ending.
