Description |
Patients: This Phase I trial involved 49 patients with a variety of different cancers. Three of the 49 patients had mesothelioma. Treatment: The treatment consisted of an extract from green tea (Camellia sinensis). Toxicity: Toxicities included grade 3 constipation, and grade 2 palpitations, fatigue, vomiting, pain, and cough. Results: The median duration of therapy was only two months. There were no major responses and overall survival was not discussed. Support: Ito En, Ltd provided research support.
